Japan Quits Whaling For The Winter
According to the NHK WORLD English website, Japan has (due to activism against whaling) suspended all research whaling for the entire winter season.
While I do not agree with the entirety of whaling for research, why the fuck can't they take just a FEW whales for research, and make due, for God's sake? I mean, research does NOT have to come at the cost of species endangerment, does it? I am far from an animal activist myself; it's actually funny to think of myself as anything remotely CLOSE to being an activist. Whatever and activist is, it sounds like the opposite of whatever it is I am.
