So, here I sit, in a Tim Hortons in Newcastle, drinking a large coffee and feeling as though I may be on the verge of death. I only feel queasy and nausious for about a minute or so at 15-minute intervals, which is more annoying than anything...The ladies at the counter in here looked at me with what seemed, to me anyway, to be a mixture of pity and placid revulsion. Alcohol consumption leads to this after-effect, I knew this beforehand...so, WHY? Did I feel absolutely compelled to spend many hours of a night drinking make-you-sick-the-next-day, was I thirsty, was it free? No, no and...no. I don't even enjoy the taste or smell of alcoholic beverages, I can't even drink Coke for like the next week or I'll heave...Damn rum-n-cokes. Goddamn you!
SONG OF THE DAY: Nicolay & Kay - "Through The Wind"
What a great track, in every way! This is feel-good music! Woooooooweeeeeeeee, go cop TimeLine, the collaborative hip hop record from producer Nicolay & Kay emceeing. He reminds me of a straight-up mixup of Pharoahe Monch (the voice, not the flow) and Talib Kweli (voice AND flow). Anyway, GET DAT SHIT!!!
